Instructions to Care for Your Sandra's Decor Outdoor Items
Any item that is placed outside WILL weather. To lengthen the life of your mailbox you must recoat it from time to time. I suggest once a year.
Please follow these instructions for recoating your item:
Lightly scrub the item with "Soft Scrub", this will give it the "tooth" needed for the new coat to adhere
Completely rinse and let dry.
Use "Delta Ceramcoat Exterior/interior Varnish". Using a soft brush or a foam brush apply two coats, letting each coat dry thoroughly.
OR, A few applications of a good car wax per year will also give great protection. Please make sure there is UV protection. Use as directed on product
A yearly coating will give your item a very long life. Also, using clear silicone caulking for holes and seams will help keep out any moisture. Please consider using rust proof screws when installing your mailbox.
